The Vibrant Pulse of Our Culture
Pride of the Next Generation
Witnessing the traditional dance at our last end of the year ceremony reminded me why we gather. It’s more than a tradition; it’s about passing our cultural pride to the next generation here in Texas.
Community Stories
Our community is a tapestry of lives connected by shared history and mutual support. These stories reflect the unity, resilience, and cultural pride that keep the Rwandan heart beating strong in Austin.
A Home Away from Home
The ARC community meetings became a lifeline when I first moved to Austin. Finding a group that speaks my language and shares my values made me feel connected and at home immediately.
The Power of Remembrance
Participating in Kwibuka taught me that healing is a collective act. Together, we honor our history while building a future defined by the resilience and unity that our ancestors dreamed of.
